Gorkpara Farms has been recognized for its outstanding agricultural achievements, winning two prestigious awards: Overall Best Farmer Award for the DBI district and Best Crop Farmer in Jirapa Municipal for 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This recognition highlights the farm’s commitment to excellence in agriculture, and it’s a testament to their hard work and dedication to feeding Ghana .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 41st National Farmers’ Day celebration, where these awards were given, emphasized the importance of sustainable agrifood production for food sovereignty, shared growth, resilience, and green jobs. The event was attended by prominent figures, including President John Dramani Mahama, who commended Ghanaian farmers for their dedication and pivotal role in advancing the country’s economic recovery .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Their corporate social responsibility is equally impressive, as they’ve helped over 500 farmers cultivate more than 1000 acres of land in DBI and Jirapa Municipal.
